Last weekend, M and I spent a lovely couple of days on Nolin Lake in central Kentucky. We shared a cabin with several friends, including my sweet and talented neighbor Aubrey, who did some photographing on our last rainy morning there. All week, in quiet moments, I've been going back.
Well, I'm about two weeks away from my first summer session at Bread Loaf and SO EXCITED. And even though my preparatory reading (above) isn't leaving a lot of time for, well, anything (but in this case making crafties, remodeling my house, and blogging about it), I thought I'd still try and share a bit of what's been filling my days. Right now, that's the incomparable Italo Calvino... and caffeinated drinks. Cheers.
Oops—Mother's Day is way over, but I still want to share these little gifties I sent to the mamas in my life. I'm afraid I always spend at least as much time on gift packaging as I do on what's inside. That's why I love these tea pods so much: the package is part of the gift! Each geometric paper pod unfolds into a flower to rest on your teacup as you brew your tea. Lovely.
