chicago mini trip

In the middle of this busy semester and because we are crazy, M and I took a quick weekend trip to Chicago for an education conference (M) and some free food and drinks (me). M rocked his presentation for an audience of geek-tastic dignitaries like Comic-Con founder, Mike Towry. I'm so proud of him!

We spent the rest of the weekend wandering Chicago in a kind of random, unplanned way: caught a train downtown here, a bus to the zoo there. We wrapped things up with an after-dark bike tour of Chicago's most haunted sites, which was freezing but awesome. Too dark for photos, but we biked nine miles, heard some good ghost stories, and saw the city skyline from Adler Planetarium. Lovely.
